Tecopa Palms RV Park - Tecopa CA - Oct. 6-8, 2011

This is one of the best and most fun camp-outs of the year. The weather was a little windy and cold on Wednesday for the early arrivals but cleared up with beautiful weather the rest of the week.

We had 16 member rigs and 2 guest RV's at this outing. The host for this outing was Pat & Al Orne with co-hosts including Shirley & Floyd Neth, Jackie & Lee Hites and Alice & Don Norvell.
Activities included a special spicy chile and salad at the host provided dinner on Wednesday evening. Also a "Omelet in a bag" Breakfast on Friday and of course, the huge pot luck dinner on Friday.
As always we played a lot of games including; 2 horseshoe tournaments, 2 cribbage tournaments, a Washers Tournament and we played Texas Holdem poker each evening.
Our chapter meeting was held on Saturday morning where discussed a lot of information about the Good Sam Organization and Dust Devils chapter activities

Nevada Fall Samboree - Winnemucca - September 2011

Pat Irvine and Chuck Hickstein who were the Nevada Good Sam 2011 King and Queen.

Seven Dust Devils rigs made this fall Samboree. Two of our members are Nevada state staff members. The following Dust Devils won ribbons for the following events.

• Horseshoe Doubles - Marilyn Herbert and Chuck Hickstein (first place ribbons)
• 31 Dice Game - Cheri Beeman (3rd place ribbon)
• Bean Bag Baseball - The Dust Devils team won second place ribbons
• Horseshoe Singles - Fred Hall won a 2nd place ribbon

Pat Irvine won a complementary ticket to the Madras Oregon State Samboree for June 2012.

Lakeside RV Park in Pahrump NV - May 2011

May 2011 — In May 2011 the Dust Devils had a big rally at the Lakeside RV Park in Pahrump NV. We had 17 member rigs and 2 guest rigs. The weather was perfect and allowed us to play a lot of games outside and the food was fabulous, as usual. We were pleasantly surprised when Jimmy and Sue Legg joined us. Jimmy & Sue are previous Dust Devils members that presently live in Prescott Valley Arizona.

Beatty Nevada - February 2011

February 2011 — This campout was held in Beatty Nevada at the Death Valley Inn RV Park. We had 17 members and 3 guest in attendance. In addition to the great food and drink that we had and a lot of games and socialization a lot of the attendees went and investigated the Beatty Museum and the Rhyolite Ghost Town.

February 2010 - Nevada Treasures RV Park - Pahrump NV

This camp-out was held at the Nevada Treasures RV Resort in Pahrump NV. We had 14 rigs with 34 members and 3 guests in attendance. Our camp-out host (Dave & Lois Ringler, Udean & LaDene Urban and Don & Alice Norvell) provided a very good welcome dinner of Chili, Cornbread, Salad and Deserts on Thursday evening. The weather was beautiful during the entire outing. We played a lot of games, including cribbage, Mexican train, and horseshoes. We had 2 cribbage tournaments. The following are the game winners.

Plenty of Bloody Mary’s and Margaritas were available at the Dust Devils bar. A short chapter meeting was held on Saturday morning (Click HERE to view the meeting report) and a potluck dinner was enjoyed on Saturday evening
