This biannual Samboree is held in Pahrump Nevada at the Nevada Treasures RV park. We had 18 rigs at this Samboree. The next Samboree will be held at the Winnamucca NV Fair Grounds on September 20 thru 22, 2012.

WE LOVE OUR GAMES AND WE ARE GOOD!
We won the Game Flag with the highest scores of all the games. Some of the winners were: Jean Ulrich - 2nd place in Cribbage singles. Chuck Hickstein - 1st place, Fred Culmer 2nd place and Floyd Neth - 3rd place, and Richard Friedel, horseshoes singles. Richard Friedel took 1st place in Mexican Train and he took 2nd place in Zelch. Our mascot, Shadow won a first place ribbon in the Pet Parade. Al Orne and Janis Fidel won won ribbons in Washers. Martha Frame won a blue ribbon for her quilt in the Art & Crafts computation and Alice Norvell won 3 place and Don won 2nd place in the Theme Parade. Alice was on the 2nd place team in Bean Bag Baseball.

A good time was had by all the attendees even though the weather went cold and wet on Friday and Saturday. We did have a short chapter meeting and you can view the meeting report on our Pahrump Valley Dust Devils Website at:
